Hey guys, it's Brad at etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Swagman XC2 Platform Style Bike Rack. We have a 2016 BMW X1 that it is attached to, so let's take a look. So starting off, we have these wheel hoops, that allow the tires to sit in there. Now, this offers a variety of different widths, but also notice there's no strapping. Now with the tires, being able to sit down here, it allows for a good secure mount along with its frame mount. more

Today on our 2017 BMW X1 we're doing a test fit of the Thule Helium Aeor Hanging Style 3 Bike Rack. That part number is TH9043. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. We have three cradles with three straps in place. Two over our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release those. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 BMW X1- Video

Today on our 2017 BMW X1 we're doing a test fit of the Kuat NV 2.0 Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That part number is NV22G. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. We're going to come here to the middle and we're going to pull down on this lever here, and that's going to allow us to tilt our bike rack, with our bikes fully loaded, away from our vehicle. In this position we're able to open up our hatch. You'll see we have plenty of clearance there. We're not going to have to worry about contact, and we can get anything in or out that we may need. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 BMW X1- Video

Today on our 2015 BMW X1, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule T2 Classic and that's part number TH9044. It's a platform style rack, it holds two bikes with zero frame contact. We have this wheel hook upfront here, putting down pressure into the front wheel cradle here. The back, we have this adjustable wheel cradle here that's keeping our wheel in place. Like I said, it's a really nice feature for being it a no frame contact especially if you got like a carbon fiber bike or if you just don't want any scratches or anything like that. Another great feature this bike rack has is it has the ability to tilt away from our X1 so we can gain access to our rear hatch. We're going to locate this lever here. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 BMW X1- Video

Today in our 2015 BMW X1, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Kuat 00:00:05 NV 2.0 platform style 2-bike rack. That's part number NV22G. So I've already got it loaded up on the X1 just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. It actually holds our bikes with zero frame contact. We have this wheel hook here in the front, putting down pressure into the front wheel cradle. Here in the back we've got a wheel strap going over our wheel and keeping that in place. So it's a really nice feature if you've got a carbon fiber bike or a bike that you'd just like to keep from getting any scratches. Let's go ahead and point out one of the main features though. more
